- Live in a home that is safe, habitable, and well-maintained.
- Enjoy their living space with the assurance that their landlord will address necessary repairs and upkeep.
Have the responsibility to:
- Care for the property and maintain it in good condition.
- Communicate openly with landlords about any issues or needed repairs.
Landlords
Have the responsibility to:
- Provide and maintain a property that meets safety and habitability standards.
- Respond promptly to tenant concerns and repair requests.
Have the right to:
- Expect tenants to uphold their lease agreements and maintain
the property with care. - Receive timely communication from tenants regarding any
issues or concerns.
Successful tenancies rely on a shared commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment. By understanding and fulfilling your rights and responsibilities, both tenants and landlords can contribute to a positive and respectful rental experience.
